UPPER KLAMATH- WARDS “KIKACEKI” CANYON – CLASS 4- HALF DAY RAFTING ADVENTURE
As of August 1st, our newly uncovered Wards “Kikaceki” Canyon will be a half day trip jam packed full of class 3 and 4+ whitewater. This is a really special area as it has been underwater since the early 1900’s. There is a lot of history in this area as it was sacred land to the Shasta tribe as this was their homeland. You will start your trip out in the old COPCO reservoir footprint in calm waters. Here you will get to know the area, the raft, your guide and their commands, safety, and what is ahead. Entering the canyon is very spectacular; the views, geology, the rapids and the pace are world class. Enjoying this special place is a top priority and we will try and slow things down a bit to look around and marvel. This is a 3 mile stretch that is nonstop, big whitewater for guaranteed splashes to the face, and all day smiles!

UPPER KLAMATH- HELLS CORNER- CLASS 4- FULL DAY RAFTING ADVENTURE
Hells Corner is a famous stretch of class 4 whitewater. This stretch was among the biggest whitewater on the west coast that was raftable all summer long due to the fact Pacific Power generated electricity from the major dams that produced hydropower . In 2024, four of the six major dams were removed on the Klamath River to help restore salmon and bring the river back to its natural path. Now the river levels adjust more naturally with rainfall. This stretch still has class 1-4+ whitewater and is a bit more technical at lower water. The well known 4+ Hells Corner and Caldera rapids are calling all thrill seekers!!
As of August 1st, we will start running the historic section of whitewater again, we as a company are THRILLED! This is what our guides live for and is guaranteed smiles all day long!! We are seeing lower flows than in the past, but this section is still jam packed with 34 class 3, 4 and 4+ rapids.
