Join us this Spring for a class 4+ trip on the Klamath river
Although 4 dams were removed, there are still dams on the Klamath that control the volume of water in the river. We are currently working with the Bureau Of Reclamation to get a forecast on their operational output for the seasons ahead. These forecasts may be week to week. With that being said, there are 44 miles with big water potential in the Spring and early Summer. All of the sections of the Upper Klamath offer different whitewater with different personalities. Some can be run at very high flows and some cannot. There is also a “sweet spot” where we can run the entire 44 miles in a two day format that is incredible. Again, we won’t know what the level will be, but we can pick and mix accordingly. 1 day or 2 days. April and May. Possibly June.
