Klamath River -Irongate Dam- Scenic Float

A Relaxing Outdoor Adventure

With the anticipation of an enormous amount of interest in seeing the river post-dam and not wanting to sign up for class 4+, we decided to offer a trip for everyone.  A family friendly and easy 3/4 day trip.  See the river heal year after year as it settles into it’s original channels.  The equipment we will use will be like our Rogue Scenic float.  Larger boats, backrests, and no paddling required.  For those that want a little more excitement, we will bring kayaks that paddled or towed according to guests needs.   We will put-in at Fall Creek(Kikac’eki) and take out at Bush Creek for a total of 6.5 miles.

We offer the chance to test out inflatable kayaking to spice thigs up a bit for those that are eager to try out paddling on their own.

Our guides are well-versed in the flora and fauna, history, and stories of the Klamath River and quick to point out deer, geese, osprey, eagle, and other bird life and waterfowl which are common sightings along the way.

This trip includes a full deli-style lunch.
